Apple to remove 3D Touch from 2019 iPhone models according to reports

Apple is also rumoured to be launching several new iPads.

The handsets could be launched onto the market in a staggered fashion over the next two to four months, according to some analysts.

More interestingly, Apple wants to replace the iPhone 8 with a device inspired by the iPhone X. It could cost around as much as the iPhone 8 today, but it should be a big upgrade for those who are focused on the entry-level model.

Bolstered by the volume production of the new iPhone models, Foxconn saw its July revenues hit a new high ever seen for the same month and its revenue growth momentum is expected to remain through the end of 2018.

There'll be a new high-end iPhone, internally dubbed D33, with a display that measures about 6.5-inch diagonally, according to the people familiar with the matter. Even the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone is expected to get on board with this. Apple Watch is rumored to be released in September this year. The Bloomberg article confirms many rumors and adds a couple of new details here and there. Apple's services business, which includes Apple Music, iCloud, the App Store, and others, has been a consistent bright spot for the company as iPhone sales steadily slow-the service sector rose 31 percent in Q3 2018 from the previous quarter, pulling in $9.54 billion.

Citing "people familiar with the matter", Bloomberg says that Apple is set to launch no fewer than three handsets with the full-screen look of the current iPhone X. The trio of phones has been created to have broader appeal with a wider range of pricing, sources say.

While there is no doubt a major opportunity, it would, however, be no easy task to convince all the interested buyers into actually shelling out the big bucks.

But the 2018 iPhones have also presented a naming conundrum for Apple, the sources told Bloomberg. This will help Apple boost its sales performance during this year's shopping holiday season. Hence, efforts will be directed at higher-priced and premium products. Analysts expect three new iPhone models. The company has made a decision to launch a cheaper iPhone this year and, regardless of what name they decide to use, we are expecting an iPhone that will be close to the iPhone 8's price. The 6.1-inch iPhone is expected to go for Aluminum instead of Stainless Steel on the other two. Apple is facing growing rivalry outside of the USA, especially in developing markets where many people prefer less expensive phones with larger screens. The new models will come in 11- and 12.9-inch sizes and will feature slimmer bezels around their displays.

Last but not least this might be the year where we get our dual-sim iPhone-if Apple is indeed planning to make such a phone. This feature is common in Android devices and is particularly useful to global travelers.

Apple can not afford a wrong step at this point in time, as it needs to shore up its revenues and business growth. The branding of this phone isn't totally clear yet.
