"She's calling the police on an 8-year-old little girl".

Right on cue, Ettel claims the race of the little girl did not play in her decision to call the police.

It is being argued that both women called the police without reasonable cause.

Ettel told "Today" that she's not proud of her behavior, and would like to apologize to the mother and daughter.

Since the San Francisco video went viral, Ettel said she's received "all kinds of threats".

Austin and Rogers said that they would not be accepting Ettel's apology, NBC News reported.

That's not all! Ettel was also set to be one of the subjects of a documentary called Lady Buds, which centered around women in the cannabis industry.

"Yeah, and illegally selling water without a permit", the woman said. However, Ettel says Austin and Jordan were shouting as they sold water and it was distracting. People on Twitter did what they do best and made the video go viral, quickly identifying the woman as San Francisco resident Alison Ettel.

Ettel told CNN she was trying to make a deadline on the day the incident occurred, and became annoyed by what she described as constant yelling about $2 water bottles for sale outside her window.

In her interview with Today, Austin invoked the issue of white privilege. "Knowing that and knowing everything that's going on in the media, why would you call the police on a child of color?"

Meanwhile, the mother of the eight-year-old girl has promised to press charges against Ettel for harassment.

@_ethiopiangold hi, I've purchased 4 adult peak tickets (no need to worry about age, or day) and I'd like to send the gift receipt via email that her mom will be able to access the tickets from.

Ettel told HuffPost that she was working from home and that Rodgers was continuously screaming outside.

A representative for Ettel said the woman's actions were not racially motivated.

The Instagram post was viewed more than 900,000 times by Sunday morning, while the Twitter post was retweeted 65,000 times. However, in light of its worldwide controversy, retailers have announced that they will no longer sell her company's products because of the incident. "I had been putting up with this for hours, and I just snapped".

"Extremely excited because I have never gone", Jordan said.

Alison Ettel, 44, rang 911 on Friday after noticing her neighbour Jordan Rodgers selling bottled water to people on the sidewalk outside their San Francisco apartment block. "Thank you for teaching her all people aren't so s-y".

"Now I'm starting to think she did it on objective", Jordan said, "because I think she doesn't care about people's skin colors, because she doesn't care about people's lives except for hers".
