In an Instagram video from Ace Seattle Comic-Con, the star revealed that the sequel to his 2017 hit Spider-Man: Homecoming will be called Spider-Man: Far From Home.

There's not much in the way of further information beyond that, however. Watch below, but beware of spoilers if you've yet to see "Avengers: Infinity War". Whether the reveal was intentional or not is an entirely different question, but for now, we can cross the title off the list of things we know about the movie.

The film, which introduces Jake Gyllenhaal as the villainous Mysterio, will also be the first solo Spider-Man film to take the hero out of his native New York City.

"But I do know that I got the new script", he said.

The Far From Home title reflects that this will be the first Spider-Man solo movie to take the wallcrawler out of NY and put him in other parts of the world, such as London. So I don't really how all this comes into play but what I do know is that I've got the script. This title reflects what Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige previously confirmed about the 2019 sequel taking Peter Parker out of NY for a European adventure in London that will reflect the global aftermath of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.

Ironically, Cindy Moon has already made her own Marvel Cinematic Universe as a member of Peter's decathlon team in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Captain Marvel will follow it in March of 2019, with Avengers 4 coming in May of 2019 and Spider-Man: Far From Home slated for release on July 5, 2019.
