As Bethesda promised, today was published albeit short, but still a trailer demonstrating the gameplay and the description of Rage 2, officially announced last night.

If you like open-world FPS titles set in a dystopian universe, then Rage 2 looks to be right up your alley (and mine, too).

RAGE 2 will be released on PC, Xbox One, and PS4. While it is hard to draw a conclusion from just this one series of scenes, the clip immediately shows that Rage 2 has more character and tries to be more charming than its predecessor. The sequel is being made by a tag team of developers, with both id Software and Avalanche Studios contributing to the final product, which has a release date period of Spring 2019.

In a surprising move, Bethesda Softworks has contracted Avalanche Studios to develop Rage 2 instead.

Rage 2 will feature a seamless open-world that you can traverse using the various vehicles you can find in game.

We do, however, have a few details about the game revealed by the games own section on the Bethesda website. You may remember Avalanche from their work on Mad Max; the shockingly brilliant open-world game that never really seemed to achieve the level of success it deserved.

After an asteroid decimates Earth's population by 80%, a world that lacks society, law and order is left behind. They also brought out the new trailer that showcased what players could expect in the future.

In keeping with the past mockery following the Walmart leak, the official Rage 2 Twitter account also released a new image tweeted out poking fun at the discovery.

Okay, Bethesda's back, everyone, and, no, it's not Fallout, if you can believe it.
