According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Dallas Cowboys have acquired wide receiver Tavon Austin in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams. One giant question mark at the wide receiver position for the Dallas Cowboys.

Following Saturday's trade, Austin should find himself in more comfortable surroundings as he seeks to evolve into a consistent threat-no matter how he receives his touches.

The 28-year-old has played his entire career with the Rams. All told, he had a career-low 13 receptions for 47 yards to complement 59 carries for 270 yards and a touchdown. Austin could be that type of player. Austin was a two-time First Team All-American for the Mountaineers, forming part of the core of a deadly West Virginia offense that featured future National Football League players Geno Smith and Stedman Bailey. He's also contributed with 1,238 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground. Dallas figures to be an advantageous situation of him, as nothing is set in stone with the receiving depth chart at this point.

They signed former Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Allen Hurns in free agency and also added Colorado State receiver Michael Gallup in the third round of the draft.

Tavon Austin is finally on the move.
