Six people injured in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash almost two weeks ago remained in hospital Thursday, with two of the six still in critical condition. At this point, no charges have been laid and the RCMP would not reveal whether charges may be laid in the future.

Earlier information regarding the truck driver was confirmed in that he was held in custody immediately following the accident and was released later that evening.

Investigators have also collected evidence using 3D technology and drones, and more than 5,500 pictures have been taken.

Complex collision reconstruction investigations "are often measured in weeks and months, rather than days", he said. The intersection of Highways 35 and 335 will be closed to traffic, and all roads leading to the intersection will be barricaded, with detours in place.

The driver of the semi-trailer was uninjured in the crash.

Investigators will be positioning vehicles similar to those involved in the crash at the intersection to take measurements and analyze sightlines.

Singh said he's basically out of business after Alberta Transportation ordered Adesh Deol Trucking Ltd.to keep its only other truck off the road.

"He's feeling good now and going to the doctor", said Singh, who added the driver is still in counselling.

Assistant Commissioner Curtis Zablocki thanked all the first responders that attended the scene, those who have worked diligently on this investigation over the past two weeks and those who will continue to work until this investigation is concluded.

Zablocki said the driver's logs have been seized by police, though it's unclear whether the logs are on paper or digital.

The driver has been interviewed by police, but Zablocki did not reveal details of what he told officers.

As of the latest update provided by the team Tuesday, nine people remain hospitalized, with two in critical condition.

Meanwhile, a GoFundMe page dedicated to the Humboldt Broncos, which the online crowdfunding service says is the largest-ever Canadian campaign, stopped taking donations at midnight Wednesday, as planned.

The campaign was created by Sylvie Kellington, a resident of the team's hometown of Humboldt, Saskatchewan, on the night of the crash.
