Amazon is now giving out Echo devices, shopping credit, and other rewards to Android gamers as part of a month-long Challenges initiative, the e-commerce giant said Friday.

Amazon believes that "millions of customers" use multiple Echo speakers in their homes.

While this isn't a something very meaningful considering the way in which Alexa works, it would make the user-Alexa interactions less verbal and straightforward.

With Amazon's track record of encouraging companies to come onboard the Alexa bandwagon, this will likely lead to more smart lamps being released that can do a lot more than just turn on and off.

Amazon has announced it's adding a new feature that lets users broadcast voice messages across all Echos in a household using Alexa. To learn more about Do Not Disturb, go here.

You can also trigger this action by saying: "Alexa, tell everyone..." or "Alexa, broadcast..."

Where are Alexa Announcements available?

Amazon Key's smart entry features is now available to all customers across the USA, including keyless entry, remote lock and unlock, and guest access. However, any Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, or Echo Spot should be ready to deliver your messages in the very near future. The retailer's latest announcement may help drive home that fact.

Until now, only Fire HD 10 users could wake Alexa with a voice prompt, with other Amazon tablet users required to hold down the home button to call her up.

Along with Amazon Key's additional basic features having moved across nationwide, in-home delivery is probably to follow in the near future.
