Apple today announced it will host its 29th annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose from June 4 through June 8. It will be held in San Jose, California, at the McEnery Convention Center. Apple says, "This summer, we invite thousands of talented minds from around the world to join us and turn their ideas into reality".

Apple Developer Program and Apple Developer Enterprise Program members have until March 22nd to register through the WWDC website for a chance to buy tickets. Tickets are $1599 United States dollars and only available to persons who were members of the Apple Developer Program or Apple Developer Enterprise Program as of March 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.


Apple typically uses the opening keynote of WWDC to announce software updates to the company's various platforms such as iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS.

This year, rumors suggest that we could see a lower-cost MacBook or MacBook Air device, as well as a lineup of refreshed iPad Pro models - likely with Face ID and other iPhone X-style features and upgrades. Up to 350 student scholarships are available, allowing chosen students to attend for free. Submissions will be accepted from March 26 through April 1, and applicants will learn their status by April 20.
